Hidden Pearl took her tally of wins to four on Wednesday at Catterick when weaving her way through traffic to get up on the line under Gina Managan.
This was the third time Gina has won on this hardy little mare and it was her first win since riding out her claim last week. Hidden Pearl had won on her seasonal debut back in June at Yarmouth and is now two for four this year. Along with her four victories she has been in the first three on a firther 15 occasions and, at the age of eight, is still relishing racing.
Though no taller than 15hh, she is a proper battler and a very sound horse, as he 43 career starts show. It was a very happy day for all involved, particularly for Neil and Val who made the long trip north to Catterick.
