We're delighted to welcome EERC (Emirates Entertainment Racing Club) back to the yard with the arrival today of a lovely four-year-old gelding bred by the club and named Mr Brownstone.
We look forward to getting to know him over the course of the next few weeks and months. He's by the Arc winner Sakhee and is out of Sweet Child O'Mine, a Singspiel mare who raced successfully for EERC from Richard Guest's stable, winning five of her 19 starts and earning a top rating of 87.
The EERC colours of a black jacket with gold, silver, bronze and white hoops are very distinctive and seen often in Dubai. We were forunate to have trained the lovely Karma Chameleon for the club a few years back and he did the silks proud, winning four races in a row and only beaten a neck when going for the five-timer. Let's hope we'll be able to have a similar run of success with Mr Brownstone in the future.
